The Mount Moriah Pentecostal Church of God, Inc. was incorporated in August of 1964. The work of Mount Moriah began at 112 Rogers Avenue, Brooklyn, New York. The body of Mount Moriah worshiped at 112 Rogers Avenue, which was rented for about 13 years before moving to our current location at 238 Rochester Avenue, Brooklyn, New York in January of 1977.
By the leading of the Holy Spirit, Elder McDonald E. Boyce founded and served as Senior Pastor of MMPC from 1964 until he was called home to be with the Lord in 1971 at the tender age of 43. In 1971, Evangelist Clarissa I. Boyce was installed as the 2nd Pastor of MMPC. She served the church faithfully until 1987 when she took sick and eventually joined her husband, Elder McDonald E. Boyce to be with the Lord in 1988.
